JIUJIUXIN General Knowledge Sharing- Sigh
The sigh mode is very import for transport ventilators.
All of our JIUJIUXIN transport/emergency/portable ventilators have Sigh mode.
Underhere is some knowledge of Sigh mode for transport ventilators.
1.Regulating range: 1-10 times per 100 times adjustable or on demand (usually 100);
2.Characteristic: When in Sigh mode, the tidal volume is more than 1.5 times of the normal value, and the pressure will increase;
3.Scope of application: It is mainly used for patients who use ventilator for a long time and have no spontaneous respiration (CMV mode);
4.Advantages and disadvantages: It can make the alveoli fully expand and prevent atelectasis, but it is easy to cause air pressure injury, which should be used with caution for patients with pulmonary bullae.
